How Tradie Finance arranges business finance

  1. Tell us the job. What you are buying or funding, roughly how much, and how the business is set up (ABN age, GST, structure).
  2. We match the product and lender. One enquiry; we compare the panel and pick the structure that suits the asset and your cash flow.
  3. Indicative decision, then approval. We tell you the lender’s expected timeframe up front.
  4. Funds settle, you get to work. We handle the paperwork with the lender and the supplier.

Which product for which job

Vehicles — Buying a rigid, tipper or prime mover: truck finance. Vans, utes, trucks or a mixed fleet under one facility: commercial vehicle finance. A work van under your ABN: van finance. A work ute: ute finance. A car or dual-cab for a sole trader or ABN holder: ABN car loans.

Equipment and machinery — Tools, plant and machinery for the trade: equipment finance. Excavators, yellow goods and heavy plant: plant and machinery finance.

Limited financials — No full tax returns yet: low doc loans — ABN, bank statements and a declaration instead.

Cash flow and working capital — Growth or a shortfall without security: unsecured business loans. Cash tied up in unpaid invoices: invoice finance. Revolving access to funds: business line of credit or a business overdraft. Buying an existing business: loans to buy a business.

Structures — How ownership and GST work on a financed asset: chattel mortgage. Overview of how vehicle, plant and equipment loans are secured: asset finance.
